The IVY student studied with me for a month, during which she made significant progress in her English language skills.

Initially, she was shy, softly spoken, and struggled with spoken answers even for simple questions.

However, she demonstrated strength in written work, consistently answering questions correctly, as she had time to translate unfamiliar words.



In our first lesson, I identified three areas requiring improvement:

the student's limited vocabulary, shyness, and tendency to give short, simple answers.

With these goals in mind, we focused on building her foundations using digital tools to provide tailored exercises that adapted to her growing skills.



As her vocabulary improved, I shifted my focus towards helping her improve her answer quality and presentation,

emphasising the importance of fluency and clear communication, especially in interview situations.

I provided feedback on what qualities the school was looking for and how she could best showcase them.



The prestigious school she was applying to placed significant importance on interview performance,

which meant the quality and fluency of her answers were crucial factors in her admission.

Despite the limited time we had, the student showed determination and hard work in learning quickly.

Thanks to her efforts, she passed the interview successfully and gained admission.




Moving forward, I have no doubt that she will continue to improve and thrive

in her English language skills, achieving further success in her academic journey.
