아주 어린 나이라 영어를 배운 경험도 거의 없던 이 학생은 원어민 선생님과 평균 주 5회의 집중수업으로 약 한 달 반 정도를 학습하였습니다.
어린 학생의 경우 긍정적으로 참여하고, 지시를 잘 알아듣고, 기본적인 의사소통을 잘 해내는 것이 중요합니다.
적극적으로 activity에 참여하도록 유도하고, 밝은 면은 유지시키며, 영어환경에 자연스럽게 스며들 수 있도록 수업을 진행하였으며
그 결과 짧은 기간에도 큰 효과를 남기게 되었습니다.
From the beginning this student has been polite and always listened carefully in class. He has a fantastic sense of humor that brings light to the lessons, making them more memorable. Without a doubt, he was a delightful, young student that we at IVY always looked forward to seeing.
In terms of his progress, he has been able to build his sentences up to communicate effectively when speaking and writing in a very short amount of time. He has developed these strategies and uses appropriate hand-writing and tones. He completes all the tasks that are required of him in class and is working towards a higher English level. He does find reading a slight challenge, especially when introduced to new vocabulary. However, he is always determined to do well by making connections to the work material and learning at his own pace and rhythm.
이 학생은 처음부터 예의가 바르며, 주의 깊게 경청하는 학생이었습니다. 수업을 즐겁게 하는 좋은 유머 감각을 가지고 있었기에, 더욱 좋은 인상을 남길 수 있었을 것입니다.
의심의 여지없이, 아이비어학원의 모두가 보고 싶어했던 밝은 학생이었습니다.
발전 측면에서 말씀드리자면, 아주 짧은 시간 학습했음에도 불구하고 효과적으로 의사 소통을 할 수 있는 문장을 스스로 만들 수 있게 되었습니다. 적절한 hand-writing과 목소리 톤 또한 갖추게 되었습니다. 현재 가장 필요했던 부분들을 모두 완료하고, 더 높은 영어 수준을 향해갈 수 있도록 노력하고 있습니다. 새로운 어휘를 접할 때 다소 어려움을 겪는 편이었지만, work material과 학습의 연관성을 스스로 찾아가며 꾸준한 자신만의 속도와 리듬으로 학습을 잘 하여왔습니다.
