This student needed immediate help in order to be accepted into the International school.
Despite the fact that we had only a few weeks to prepare for the exams
we were able to meet admission requirements for this school due to the student personalized curriculum.
Our biggest challenge during the preparation was writing essays and interview questions.
Having only a few weeks, we had to rely heavily on the student’s concentration and willingness but thankfully with the appropriate method of education and the student’s strong willingness most of the problems were solved during the lessons
Although the student’s writing was okay to a certain extent, we had to refine her style of writing so that it becomes an acceptable essay.
She lacked the ability to answer the question directly and had the tendency to answer the question vaguely.
Through numerous writing and homework we were able to fix her problem and offered her a systematic style of writing so whatever the topic it may be, she was going to be able to produce a quality essay at any given moment.
Time was our biggest challenge, we only had a couple of lessons per week so the curriculum had to be designed extremely tightly. Along with a heavy amount of homework and feedback, she was able to change her style of writing in the end.
Along with that, we also went through how to answer the interview questions appropriately.
We covered the most frequently asked admission questions first and taught her how to answer questions if they asked unexpected questions.
