This student had around 2 months and a half to prepare for the international school. Although he had some experience learning English in a systematic way, it was clear that he would have some difficulties trying to be admitted to an international school.As his age was slightly older than the other applicants, we had to make sure that he was able to show his strong sides within all areas.
Luckily, he constantly studied English throughout his student years. So our mission was to polish his English skills so that his style becomes appropriate for the interviews and writing.We prepared most frequently asked admission questions as well as essay questions. With a large set of data to work on, we gave him lots of essay topics and questions to work on. And at the same time, we worked on his grammar and formats of writing so that he could apply on any topics easily which gave him confidence and fought off his fear to write an English essay.Once again, the most challenging part of this student was time. While he was working with us, he also had to focus on his school work as well as his midterm exam was due in a few weeks.
Despite that, our precise time management and personalized lessons for each teacher specializing in different areas taught him efficiently which minimized wasted time and increased studying efficiency to the maximum.Compared to when he first started, he was able to write about different types of topics at any given moment.
We gave him different styles of writing formats that could fit in various topics. We also worked on his interview so that the school could know his life story as well as his ambition without any difficulties.
The student had strong willingness and with such strong willingness and our systematic lessons, we were able to achieve his dream.
