 Despite her young age, she was an outstanding student. Major things that we focused on were her writing and speaking.
Due to her young age, most of the answers were very simple even though she could do more than that. We helped her to answer the questions with confidence which we believe is the main reason why she was accepted.Interview and writing were the most important factors for this student. Especially when it came down to the interview, most of her answers were based on her parents.
We immediately started to fix her answers and offered her different styles to answer the academic questions. But her analysis of writing and reading were outstanding to the point where she could write almost to any topics given in her grade. So all we had to do was refine her writing skills so it had more academic components in it.One of the biggest challenges with this student was speaking. Although her reading comprehension and writings were excellent, her habit of connecting her answers to her parents were serious.
We helped her to answer the questions independently by discussing the questions a lot. And after numerous practices, she was able to answer the questions without relating back to her parents. We appreciate her effort which made her to be admitted to the international school.
